The principals of Sagestar Development and Construction have been completing new hotel construction and renovation projects for over 10 years. The principals have built, acquired and redeveloped 23 hotels (representing 2,000 hotels rooms) in Texas, Arkansas, Ohio, and Oklahoma.

The company was originally organized to build and renovate hotels for the its affiliate, Sagestar Hotels, LTD., a privately-owned hotel investment and management company. The firm’s outstanding success delivering high-quality, on-budget construction projects attracted the attention other hotel owners. Over the years, the corporation has also conducted business with additional assumed names, including Newcrest Hotels and Diplomat Hotel Properties.
